Hobby helps children’s ward campaign

16/07/2008 6:26:00 PM
KEEN photographer Marilyn Miles has turned her hobby into a fundraiser for the Peel Health Foundation.

Marilyn has produced cards with beautiful photographs of local wildlife and scenes and is marketing them in local outlets, with $1 from the sale of each card going to the Foundation.

“I love photography and Mandurah has so much to offer with its variety of subjects, that I felt there was an opportunity to use my skill and hobby to benefit the Foundation,” Marilyn said.

“I am looking to find additional outlets for the cards and anyone interested can contact me on 9586 8753.”

Peel Health Foundation chief executive Bill Hatton said they were fortunate to have the support of so many committed people in the community who were prepared to volunteer their time and resources to assist in the fundraising efforts.

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer can send an email to admin@peelhealth.com or call 9531 8587.

Well done. I'm sure the Health Foundation will benefit greatly from your beautiful photos. A simple way for the public to make contributions to the fund.
